Finding Your Face Shape 

Odds are, you know whether a pair of glasses looks good on your or not - but you may not know why. We are here to let you in on a little secret: The shape of your face greatly affects how a pair of glasses looks on you. If the glasses shape harmonizes with the shape of your face, you look good. If the glasses are fighting with your face shape, they will not flatter you. 

Pull back your hair and look in the mirror, evaluating the shape of your face. Does it look like a(n): 

• Oval? If so, strong geometric frames will flatter your face shape. 
• Square? If so, offset the planes of your face with soft frames that are rounded in shape.
• Circle? If so, long or narrow glasses frames will complement the shape of your face, while round frames will detract from your natural beauty. 
• Long oval (oblong)? If so, look for wide frames that will shorten your facial length and balance your face.
• Heart? If so, think about frames that are larger on the bottom to balance the face. Pale and rimless styles work well, as do classic frame shapes like aviator. 
• Triangle? If so, large frames that draw attention to the eye area look the best. Try a cat eye! 
• Diamond? If so, offset the angularity of your face with soft oval frames.
