Meet the Staff

Debbie began working as a receptionist in the office in 1989. Throughout the years, she has cross-trained in dispensing glasses, coordinating surgery, and contact lens training.  She now spends her day unraveling the complexities of numerous insurance plans and helping patients understand their insurance coverage. In April 2005, Debbie passed a written examination to be a Certified Paraoptometric. In November 2017, Debbie passed her CPOC exam. She continues to attend education regarding optical coding and HIPAA regulations. Outside the office, she is active in the community in various organizations and fundraisers to give back to her community.  She enjoys spending time with her family and especially her two grandchildren.

After working as a technician for 24 years, Angela is now our office manager. She joined the staff in 1992. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, emphasis in Financial Management, minors in Economics and French from the University of Montana. In June 2003, she completed the practical & written exam for her CPOT certification with the AOA. She enjoys spending time with her husband and family, hiking, camping, hunting, gardening, and quilting.

Kathleen became part of our team in February 2011.  Being a native to Nevada has given her the opportunity to have lived and worked in Elko for over 30 years.  She attended Links School of Business in Boise, Idaho and has work experience in the medical field.  Her past work experience has been a great asset to our team.  Kathleen is able to assist patients in finding the best eyewear for their individual needs and provide information on current lens choices.  She also manages the other team members in the glass lab. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband and two children.

Kayli joined the Total Eyecare team as an Optometric Technician in November 2015. She had been an Ophthalmic Assistant since 2006 and a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant since 2011. She became a CPOA and Team Leader in 2017. She graduated from Elko High School, attended Great Basin College, and received an Associates of Arts Degree from Truckee Meadows Community College. She enjoys spending time with her two children in her spare time.

Consuelo started working at Total Eyecare in 2012. She started working at the front desk as a patient coordinator and now is an Optometric Technician. She received her Certified Paraoptometric Certification in 2017. She is one of the bilingual staff members.

Blanca started working at Total Eyecare in 2014. She is bilingual and is cross-trained to fill in at any department if needed. She loves her job and her time spent at Total Eyecare. On her days off, she likes to spend time with her family and her favorite hobby is to work out when she is able.

Crystal is originally from California. In 2011, not too long after moving to Nevada, she started working in the Optical Field. She has since become a Certified Optician bypassing the “National Opticianry Competency Examination”. Has completed the “Ophthalmic Career Progression Program”, as well as passing the “Certified Paraoptometric Examination”. She enjoys balancing her time between traveling, caring for, and spending time with her husband and five children, and being able to meet new people while assisting in all their eyecare needs.

Tracy has been with Total Eyecare as a Patient Coordinator since January 2018 & currently serves as team leader for the Front Desk. Before moving to Elko with her husband, she lived in Fallon, NV from 1996-2015 where they raised their 4 children. She worked for State Farm Insurance as an Insurance Account Representative. In her free time, she likes to crochet, read, sew and enjoys every chance possible to go and visit her kids and grandkids.

Katie started at Total Eyecare, April 2018 as a part-time office aide. In August 2019, she started full-time with the billing department. She has 28 years of experience in various office settings. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband and their two sons camping, fishing, or hunting.

Andrea is currently working in the glass lab as an optician. She has worked as an optician since September of 2017 and joined the Total Eyecare team May of 2019. She loves working in the optical field and has obtained her Paraoptometric Certification. She would like to further her education by becoming a fully licensed optician. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and loves being in the outdoors. Andrea looks forward to helping you find a pair of glasses to fit your optical needs!

Aimee was born and raised in Ely, NV. She received her Associate of Arts Degree in May 2000 at Great Basin Community College. She has worked in customer service for over 20 years. She moved to Elko in 1999 and started a family. She became a co-owner in several rental properties, some of which she currently owns & manages herself. Aimee joined the billing department at Total Eyecare in June 2020. She is an animal lover, enjoys spending time with her 3 children, cooking, gardening, and crafting.

Robin was born & raised in Reno, NV. She moved to Elko in 1998. She has 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren. She started at Total Eyecare in July 2020 as a patient coordinator. She enjoys sewing and spending time with her family.

Kerry is a mom of 6 wonderful kids and has been married to her amazing husband for 26 years. She grew up in Timmins, ON, Canada, but since being married has lived in several states. She has called Elko home for the last 15 years. She loves this area and enjoys hiking & exploring as a family. She loves being a part of the Total Eyecare team for almost 3 years. She is grateful for the friendships she has made at Total Eyecare and the opportunities she has had to learn and grow.

Monse started working for Total Eyecare her senior year of high school as a filer and has made her way up to a Dispensing Optician. She is currently continuing her education in the optical field to expand her knowledge so that she can be able to have a better understanding of how to accommodate each patient with any of their optical needs. A little about herself, she was born and raised in Elko, NV. She enjoys being around family and the outdoors in summer weather. She is also bilingual. She can’t wait to meet you!

Erin was born and raised in the Elko area. She graduated from Spring Creek High School in 2016. She has worked in customer service for 6 years. She became a member of the Total Eyecare team in September of 2020. She enjoys hunting, fishing, horseback riding, four-wheeling, and spending time with her family, including the furry ones.

Lucretia has been with Total Eyecare since 2015 working part-time as the frame pricing manager and office aide. She previously worked in the dental field for six years and as a stay-at-home mom for 15 years. Total Eyecare gave her the opportunity to get back out into the working world. Lucretia (an Idaho girl) and her husband have lived in Elko for 18 years. There is nothing she enjoys more than being the loudest mom in the stands at her three kids sporting events, watching college football, sewing, and crocheting projects.
